Two days on quiet Suffolk lanes. A trail of clues, prizes waiting to be unlocked, and somewhere extraordinary to arrive each evening.

I

You ride.

Two days across the quiet lanes of Suffolk. Orford, Framlingham, the Deben waterfront. Challenging enough to feel earned. Beautiful enough to make you stop.

II

You discover.

A trail left by Thomas Aldred — Suffolk smuggler, disappeared 1847. Each checkpoint unlocks a piece of his map. Each clue is earned, not given.

III

You earn it.

Sunday morning. A private boat on the Deben. The map revealed, complete. Personalised letters, prizes, and the estuary at its finest — the reward for two days well ridden.

Orford to Woodbridge
via Framlingham.

Saturday: around 52 kilometres along quiet Suffolk lanes, through the market town of Framlingham and down to the tidal waters of the Deben. Sunday: a gentle morning loop to Waldringfield, where a private boat carries you down to Ramsholt and back up to finish in Woodbridge.

Every road is ridden before you ride it. Every checkpoint is confirmed. No A-roads, no guesswork.

The story behind it

Why this exists

"I wanted to build something that made a group feel genuinely accomplished — not just looked after, but as if they'd done something together that meant something. Most cycling holidays move you through a landscape. This one asks you to solve it."
